THE PROCESS
When commissioning a piece of custom furniture for your home you are tasked with multiple elements to keep in mind such as design, utility and elegance. These three components are all important in the way you express yourself and how you want to present your space. When creating your dream space it is very difficult to find that perfect piece of furniture. There is something that is always almost perfect or if only this had that. Trying to find a combination of style, color and dimension is not an easy task by any means. That's where the good news comes in, Dan will work with you to bring your ideas to life. Dan will help guide you through the design process and select quality materials that are a perfect fit for your vision ensuring your piece of furniture is exactly how you imagined it. Step One - Get In Touch Contact Dan via email and let him know what it is that you are looking to have made. If further information is needed Dan will follow up with more in depth questions regarding your project. The more details provided help establish a good foundation for creating a design and putting together a quote. Step Two - Pricing and Rough Estimate Once the project has been discussed, Dan will provide a rough estimate based on the information provided. If the estimate is within your budget we will proceed with the next step. This estimate is subject to change due to material cost at the time of providing the estimate and final quote. Estimates can also change due to added features or alterations of the piece during the design phase of this process. Step Three - Design and Quote During the design process we will discuss final details for the project such as dimensions, material and finish. Once the final design is approved, Dan will provide you with an official quote and if approved a %50 deposit is required to confirm your order. A lead time will also be approved. Step Four - The Build Begins This is where the magic happens. When Dan takes your Ideas from conceptual design and starts to shape raw material and bring your envisions piece to life. |
